Welcome to Skyler Moving & Labor, LLC! These terms and conditions govern your use of our moving services. By booking our services, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following terms. Please read them carefully.


Booking and Payment

  1. Booking Confirmation: To secure your moving date, a deposit is required at the time of booking. The remaining balance must be paid in full before the move commences or as otherwise specified in your booking agreement.
  2. Payment Methods: We accept various payment methods, including credit cards, debit cards, and bank transfers. All payments must be made in accordance with the terms outlined in your invoice.
  3. Cancellation Policy: Cancellations must be made in writing. Deposits are non-refundable, but we may offer a partial refund or reschedule your move depending on the notice given and the circumstances.
  4. Changes to Booking: Any changes to your booking must be communicated to us as soon as possible. We will do our best to accommodate your requests, but changes may be subject to availability and additional charges.

Services

  1. Scope of Services: Our services include packing, loading, transportation, unloading, and unpacking of your belongings. Any additional services requested must be agreed upon in writing and may incur extra charges.
  2. Service Limitations: We reserve the right to refuse service if we believe it poses a risk to the safety of our team or your belongings. We do not move hazardous materials, perishable goods, or items that exceed our capacity limits.
  3. Client Responsibilities: You are responsible for ensuring that all items to be moved are properly packed and ready for transportation. Any fragile or valuable items must be disclosed to us in advance.
  4. Access Requirements: You must provide clear access to the premises for loading and unloading. This includes reserving parking spaces and obtaining any necessary permits.

Liability and Insurance

  1. Liability for Damages: While we take utmost care in handling your belongings, we are not liable for any pre-existing damages or damages caused by factors beyond our control. We recommend that you purchase additional insurance coverage for valuable items.
  2. Insurance Coverage: Basic coverage is included in our services, which provides limited protection for your items. For comprehensive coverage, we offer additional insurance options at an extra cost.
  3. Claims: Any claims for loss or damage must be reported to us in writing within 48 hours of the move. We will investigate and respond to your claim promptly.

Conduct and Behavior

  1. Professional Conduct: Our team is committed to providing professional and courteous service. We expect the same level of respect and cooperation from our clients.
  2. Prohibited Behavior: Any form of abuse, harassment, or threatening behavior towards our staff will result in immediate termination of services without refund.
  3. Safety: Safety is our priority. Our team is trained to follow safety protocols, and we expect clients to ensure a safe environment for the duration of the move.

Force Majeure

We are not liable for any delays or failures in performance caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, strikes, accidents, or equipment failures.

Modifications and Termination

  1. Modification of Terms: We reserve the right to modify these terms and conditions at any time. Any changes will be posted on our website and will take effect immediately.
  2. Termination of Services: We reserve the right to terminate services if you breach any of these terms or if we believe it is in the best interest of safety and security.

Governing Law

These terms and conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the state of Arizona. Any disputes arising from these terms will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Maricopa County, Arizona.
